New York Jets What Is Happening Here?

If this isn't the question of the day! The question so many of us are asking ourselves today after our third straight loss. A loss to the Saints, Miami, *groan* and now the Bills. I'm trying to take the time myself to get a better picture of it all & piece it together so that it seems to make sense. ..And I wait.. -and I wait. watch some more video.. & wait for it to come to me. If we knew what the heck is going on & knew the problem was being addressed we'd all be feeling a sense of relief right now. That just isn't the case for me, I watch that post game presser and I'm sorry -I'm left still scratching my head. I didn't see any specific answers in there I've watched it three times. I get that Mark realizes he played the worst game he's ever played, which only he knows, granted. I also seen Coach Ryan giving us a sense of a basic (quote) "we gotta get better" attitude. That's good too, -IF WE WERE IN LITTLE LEAGUE HERE!

C'mon coach Ryan these men have worked damn hard all their lives to achieve their dreams, we as fans go all out to support you, our team! You took a position within this team to be in charge of these dreams, show them how to acheive them. Be there to push them & show them where they're making mistakes. So,once again I'll ask this question; What Is Happening Here?

We've got the best teamwork going this year Ive ever seen as a Jetsfan..EVER! There's no way simply losing Kris sparked these chain of events here,I watched unfold befor my very eyes. Not to mention two previous losses which I'm not about to get started on. Giving up a time out for six yards in which we didnt even win-that was a huge mistake, I believe anyhow. Theyll have to look at what they were missing & not let it happen again!

Here's to hoping that coach Ryan-and the team can figure out what they're doing wrong, make a strategy to correct it & be the team that they've showed us they are this year.. -This is where us fans have the problem coach Ryan, we've done alot of "hoping" all the while as Jetsfans throughout the years. We want YOU to make the difference and MAKE it happen. You have just the team for it this year!

NFL WEEK 6 JETS VS BUFFALO

I'm still trying to come up with the words to explain how I feel after this game, yet be tactful at the same time. I figured if I had went and had me a good sleep- wait until morning I'd be able to do just that. I was wrong. Obviously nothing has changed, nor has my disappointment diminished any. I am going to go and have a look, see how this was handled by coach Ryan, and the team as a whole and I will certainly be back to share my collective thoughts.
*Thomas Jones played magnificently! Too bad he was playing alone~

WEEK 5 JETS VS DOLPHINS

Wow. What Can I say here? To me, to begin with this one was a very personal one for me, & always THE most important. I know it's just not really the way it is, as the most important games should be the ones we need to focus on re: threat levels, evaluate where we need to strengthen up yadda, yadda but I've been a dedicated Jets fan for a great number of years & this rivalry we have goin' with Miami is here to stay. Its huge for me. Imagine how disappointed I was last year that we didn't geta Monday night game atall ALL season! I was some pissed. ...and the joy I felt the moment the 2006 schedule was released and seen we had a Monday Night game, -on Christmas day at that! I was absolutely thrilled! Now back to week 5 2009.. this game, & this loss really hit me where it hurts most and I'm shedding green tears. Not only over the loss itself but c'mon, with seconds on the clock- time was just not on our side at this point and Miami squeeked one by us and took the game. Aaaarrggh!

NEW YORK JETS WEEK 2 GAME SUMMARY

I think this may very well be 1 one my favorited games of the whole season! This game was a real biggie in my eyes and seems that coach Ryan was right on top of it by wanting to go big on the DB putting most of the focus right there. And so right he was in doing so! Although in order to do this he had to deactivate DE Mike DeVito, DT Howard Green and DE Ropati Pitoitua, all of whom played in the opener at Houston, not because they were unable to play but to make room for some of the Jets’ talented DBs in an effort to counter Tom Brady’s ability to get the ball to his receiver.

Two of the frontline DBs, starting CB Lito Sheppard and nickelback Donald Strickland, had to come out of Sunday's victory with injuries and the reserves had to step up.

And they did in a big way. Sheppard, who forced the Pats to settle for a field goal after knocking the ball out of Joey Galloway’s hands in the end zone but left with a strained quad, was replaced by Dwight Lowery, who sealed the “W” on the Pats' last offensive play of the game with a pass breakup on Brady’s fourth-and-10 pass.

After Strickland, who racked up six tackles, came out in the third quarter with a sprained ankle, Coleman went in to make three tackles. Eric Smith, playing what the Jets call the "X" position in the dime, came through with a hit on Brady, a PD and three tackles.

“It’s definitely exciting when you know you can rattle arguably the best quarterback, and we know other teams are going to look at that,” said Coleman. “Even though we didn’t get a sack, we got 23 hits on him and we rattled him. He didn’t make the clutch throws that he usually makes. It was definitely exciting and we’re going to take that into the next few games.”
